TAOIST TAI CHI

Taoist Tai Chi arts are specifically designed to improve health. The turning and stretching in each of the movements contributes to better balance and posture, increased strength and flexibility, and calmness and peace of mind.

The movements exercise the whole physiology, including tendons, joints, connective tissue and internal organs. At the mental and spiritual level, they are a method of ‘taming the heart’ and developing an attitude of calm, compassion and reduce self-centredness both during practice and in daily life.

Taoist Tai Chi arts are accessible and beneficial to everyone, regardless of their physical condition.

Everyone is welcome to visit a class at one of the regular free open houses. See Taoist Tai Chi demonstrations, try the moves for yourself and learn about how Taoist Tai Chi could help you improve your health and well-being. Visit taoist.org.uk to find your nearest class.
