Following on from earlier work by Nikola Tesla, the German physicist, Professor WO Schumann predicted in the mid-twentieth century that there are electrical standing waves in the atmosphere and discovered that the earth’s ionosphere produces a very specific pulsation. In 1954, measurements taken by Schumann and Dr Herbert Konig confirmed an earth frequency of 7.83Hz. This has become known as the Schumann Resonance.
Konig went on to compare human EEG (electroencephalogram) recordings with natural electromagnetic fields of the environment. He discovered correlations between the Schumann resonance and human brain rhythms.
Dr Wolfgang Ludwig and other researchers became aware that manmade electromagnetic signals could interfere with Schumann waves, most notably in big cities. They went on to perform experiments that showed how health issues, such as diverged circadian rhythms, emotional distress, and migraines, could arise if people are separated from the earth frequency. These symptoms quickly cleared up after brief exposure to 7.8Hz.
