Highgate Massage and Acupuncture Clinic

A Highgate massage and acupuncture clinic was opened by London Acupuncture Therapy in Spring 2020. Mark Kiely Lic Ac, MBAcC, BSc (Hons) has been a full-insured member of the British Acupuncture Council since 2007. He subsequently trained in therapeutic and deep-tissue massage at the London School of Massage and obtained his professional massage qualifications in 2014.

Mark has worked in clinics in Greenwich, Dulwich, Clapham, Battersea, and Denmark Hill. He is now working at the Highgate massage and acupuncture clinic, his first venture in North London since working in the Finchley-based student clinic when he was studying.

The Highgate massage and acupuncture clinic is located in the Highgate Holistic Clinic close to Highgate Village, Archway Road, and the Northern Line station. Mark works alongside a team of capable and dedicated practitioners, including osteopaths, hypnotherapists, and Gestalt therapy practitioners. Working alongside colleagues of other disciplines in this clinic environment allows them to refer and recommend other treatments which may be better suited to the needs of the client if necessary.

The transport links make this an ideal location for the Highgate massage and acupuncture clinic. In addition and on a more personal note, Mark has always had a strong affection for the area. His favourite nineteenth century author, George Eliot, is buried in nearby Highgate cemetery.

Mark commenced his massage career by providing massage treatment to a south London rowing club as part of a clinical coursework project. He works with clients who present with a wide range of reasons for wanting massage treatment. Perhaps the most common of all issues is tension in the neck and shoulders and upper back, which sadly is easily borne of many aspects of our modern lives here in London. He also regularly works with people with lower back pain, hip issues, and those wanting massage treatment targeted specifically for the legs. Mark treats professional athletes, keep-fit fanatics, the moderately health conscious, and couch potatoes and believes massage therapy has something to offer everybody.
