The Chinese year of the Sheep began on 19 February. Sheep are the gentlest of all the twelve animals in the Chinese zodiac. They are intelligent and creative and often amusing, but they like to do things slowly and quietly in their own way.
In fact, they are so slow and careful that they are not well-suited to running their own business. They really struggle to work under any pressure, so employers get the best out of them by giving them a wide berth for their creative talents.
They can feel insecure and need lots of love, affection, and support and are good at returning these.
Sheep like to roam free on the hillside but not alone, preferring the comfort of a flock. They retreat in the face of aggression and are survivors. They tend to get what they want by gentle, non-confrontational tactics.
If looking for a perfect mate, Sheep (born in the years 2003, 1991, 1979, 1967, 1955, 1943, 1931…) should look for a Rabbit (2011, 1999, 1987, 1975, 1963, 1951, 1939, 1927…). They might also like to consider a Horse or a Pig or even another Sheep. They have no compatibility with the Rat, Tiger, or Ox.
Famous Sheep include Muhummad Ali, Michelangelo, Bobbie Fischer, Billie Jean King, and Mick Jagger.
