In 1971 in the US, President Nixon declared war on cancer. This war has not gone well. In the US, incidence of testicular cancer has risen by 115%, non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma by 70%, and breast cancer by 300%. Even when adjusted for increases in longevity, the rates of cancer are far above what would be traditionally expected. Besides, cancer is becoming less a disease of ageing with childhood leukaemia having the greatest rate of increase of all cancers.
I’m not here to function as a conspiracy theorist or alarmist. It does, however, seem pertinent in this context to point out that since the 1940s, over 100, 000 chemicals never before seen on Earth have been manufactured and used, seeping into the air, water, soil, all flora, and all animals (including humans). Many of these chemicals are petroleum-based, and many are lipholic and become stored in fat tissue in our bodies. Many also have very long lives.
Many of these chemicals mimic human oestrogen and survive for up to 40 years in our bodies, as opposed to the 48 hours of natural endogenous oestrogen. Some also increase the number of oestrogen receptors in the human body, leading to extremely high storage of oestrogen-like molecules. Several cancers, including breast, ovarian, prostate, and testicular have a documented correlation to this rise in hormonal exposure.
