Greenwich Acupuncture Clinic Reopening

The Greenwich acupuncture clinic at the Greenwich Natural Health Centre is reopening on 14 July. For the safety and wellbeing of clients, staff, and all members of the public, the clinic temporarily closed back in March.

To ensure the continued safety of all visitors to the Greenwich acupuncture clinic, a range of extra safety measures are in place. These meet the requirements set by the government and the strict set of mandatory guidelines that the British Acupuncture Council have provided for all members. As ever, it is strongly recommended that you only go to see acupuncture practitioners who are a member of this regulatory body.

Bookings and all enquiries can be with Mark by telephone or email. Bookings can also be made via the website of the Greenwich Natural Health Centre. Due to the current circumstances, reception times are very restricted, so there is a new online booking system in place for the centre. If you are not comfortable with booking online, then it is best to contact Mark directly.

With the Greenwich acupuncture clinic reopening, it remains essential that all visitors to the premises abide by the government social distancing guidelines. Upon making a booking, clients will be informed of the procedures in place based upon government guidelines and the stipulations of the British Acupuncture Council.

For the time being, Mark will not be offering therapeutic massage, but this policy will be updated at the appropriate time.

It has been a very tough few months since March for many people. It has been a source of frustration for Mark and his colleagues at GNHC that, when contacted by current and new existing clients with a wide variety of issues, they have been able to offer only limited help from a distance (such as acupressure advice and Qi Gong exercises). In particular, many people are reporting anxiety and stress issues and varying states of low mood, and Mark looks forward to helping people suffering in this way from the effects of the pandemic.

It is of course vitally important that everybody abides by the NHS-led test and trace policy and not come to the clinic if they are known to have come into contact with somebody who has or may have covid-19.
